Negretti & Zambra Pocket Compass 1917

Officer's pocket compass by the famous firm of Negretti & Zambra. Bevelled crystal, jewel bar needle, nickel plated Dennison case. Inscribed on cover "Negretti & Zambra, London, 1917, No. 840." Also has the British broad arrow mark designating it a military item.

Important note, this compass points to magnetic South. Perhaps the magnetism was reversed or it was made for those serving in the southern hemisphere.

Great overall and working condition.
