Antique 19th C. French Barometer on Bronze Cherub Stand

Antique French aneroid barometer with bronze figural cherub stand. Brass case and silvered cutaway dial reveals a polished aneroid movement. Unusual style of movement (first time I have handled one these in over 25 years); my reference books date this type of movement to 1875. Great working and overall condition. Measures 11-1/2" tall by 5-1/4" diameter at base.
